What changed

Anthropic introduced a directory submission portal for developers on paid Claude plans. A submission can point to a remote MCP connector or to a GitHub-hosted bundle of connectors and skills. The portal checks submissions, shows review feedback, and lets developers publish after approval.

Published plugins gain analytics covering installs and discovery. The announcement also says existing directory listings for skills, connectors, and plugins do not need immediate changes. Packaging a tool for distribution and having it approved are separate steps.
