What changed

DeepSeek Harness v0.2.0-rc.2 bundles the dsh command with its macOS and Windows desktop distributions for plugin management. The release notes say a separate Node or pnpm installation is no longer needed for that path, but users still install the command through the menu-bar action named Manage dsh command.

The same release loads the login-shell environment when Desktop launches graphically on macOS and Linux, making configured tool paths and proxy settings available to sessions. It also fixes the bundled runtime's signing permissions on Intel Macs. GitHub labels the release as a pre-release.

When a desktop agent cannot find a command that works in your terminal, compare its environment and release version before reinstalling the toolchain.
