What changed

DeepSeek Harness v0.1.6-alpha.1 adds MCP resource discovery, resource reading, and URI templates. It also extends file, command, and programmatic tool-calling tools so a local Harness session can work with a remote workspace over SSH.

The release adds experimental browser backends, computer interaction, and automatic review. It includes configuration changes as well: the default DeepSeek protocol becomes Messages, and several plugin and runtime interfaces change. GitHub marks the version as a pre-release, so the notes should be read as a versioned migration record rather than a promise about today's defaults.

For agent upgrades, read the migration notes as carefully as the feature list. A working model connection does not guarantee that existing plugins or remote tools still match the new interfaces.
